Peyton Claxton
Peyton is a dedicated Registered Psychologist who is passionate about supporting people to build meaningful and fulfilling lives. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Peyton takes a warm, empathetic and client-centred approach. She works collaboratively alongside individuals to explore their experiences, move toward their therapeutic goals and enhance their wellbeing. She endeavours to create a safe and non-judgemental space where people can feel comfortable and heard while exploring challenges. Peyton is committed to providing evidence-based interventions and engaging in neuro-affirming and inclusive practices. She is curious, open-minded and continually building her clinical knowledge to offer thoughtful support to individuals. Peyton has a particular interest in working with children around emotional regulation and behavioural concerns.
Peyton brings to DS Psychology a blend of experience in crisis support, educational setting and arts sector management roles. Outside of her clinical work, Peyton enjoys her time in nature and creative pursuits.
