What PIPS is

One program, everything you need

PIPS is designed for provisional psychologists who have completed a Master of Professional Psychology and are ready to complete their sixth year. It's a comprehensive pathway designed to help you become a confident, capable psychologist through supervised practice, professional development, assessment support and paid client work—all within a supportive practice that treats you like family.

Since launching PIPS in 2020, we've achieved a 100% success rate across internship plans and final AHPRA submissions.

You will practise from our Ringwood clinic or Malvern East, alongside early-career and highly experienced clinicians across a huge range of specialty areas.

Applied learning together

Professional growth happens best in a connected community. That's why our unique, structured 20-week face-to-face professional development program is delivered alongside your cohort, complemented by unlimited online PD, access to a comprehensive clinical test library (including Novopsych), and complete preparation for the National Psychology Exam.

Broad clinical experience

Build confidence through direct client contact from the beginning, with a progressive caseload designed to develop your skills at a sustainable pace. Gain experience across diverse presentations while working within a large, experienced community of psychologists.

Supported every step

Benefit from Board-approved supervision, peer supervision groups, daily clinical support, an observation room with a two-way mirror, full administrative support, and Directors who are practising psychologists—accessible, approachable and always nearby.

A career, not just a year

Enjoy permanent part-time employment while completing your internship, with genuine opportunities beyond registration. Most PIPS interns choose to stay with us as registered psychologists, supported by an established referral base, continued professional development, and no lock-in contracts.
