Jovell Hofmann
Jovell is a registered psychologist who completed a Master of Professional Psychology in 2021. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Jovell has clinical experience in a range of settings including working with NDIS with clients seeking job placement, within OzChild and in an indigenous mentoring role. She has lived in Singapore, China, and Malaysia and has been exposed to different cultures throughout her travels. She is comfortable working with clients with different backgrounds, cultures and being able to navigate a client’s mental health in line with their religious and cultural beliefs.
Jovell is passionate about creating a safe environment for her clients to be their authentic self in therapy. She has a warm therapeutic style focused on helping clients become a better version of themselves and empowering them to create a positive change in their life.
Jovell is interested in working with children, adolescents and young adults with a range of presentations including depression, OCD, anxiety, disordered eating, self-esteem issues, interpersonal difficulties and general life stressors.
Jovell is also available to provide a range of assessments including cognitive, autism, ADHD and educational. With the aim of the assessment to understand the client holistically and provide a comprehensive report.
