James Heaysman-Sinclair

Provisional Psychologist

James brings a warm, genuine, and compassionate approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and valued. With excellent engagement and people skills, he combines a calm, approachable style with casual confidence and emotional depth, helping clients feel comfortable exploring both challenges and personal growth.

He is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to ensure therapy feels meaningful, personal, and empowering. Guided by curiosity, authenticity, and care, James draws on evidence-based interventions through a client-centred lens, supporting individuals to build insight, confidence, resilience, and practical skills aligned with their goals and values.

James has a particular interest in working with young adults, neurodivergent individuals, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. He values creating an affirming, inclusive therapeutic environment where clients can safely explore identity, relationships, wellbeing, and life transitions.

Outside of the clinic, James enjoys wandering and exploring new places, trying new coffees and teas, relaxing with a game, and snuggling up with the softest cat he can find.
