Helen Hadley
Helen Hadley is a Clinical Family Therapist who brings a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating emotional, mental, relational and physical challenges. She works with clients experiencing emotion dysregulation, relationship difficulties, self-esteem struggles, and addiction issues, while maintaining a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed framework.
Helen has worked in private practice since 2008 and integrates a range of evidence-based strategies, including psychotherapy, cognitive restructuring, inner child work, systems theory, mindfulness, expressive therapies, and walking therapy, to support healing and personal growth.
Helen believes in empowering individuals to cultivate self-love and establish healthy boundaries that foster emotional well-being and personal safety. She supports clients in recognizing their own value, developing self-compassion, and clear, respectful limits in relationships
In addition to her therapeutic work, Helen has facilitated healing and mediation groups, which provided a safe space for individuals and families to explore emotions, resolve conflict, and restore relationships. She also has incorporated Gestalt therapy into retreat programs, which allows participants to engage in deep self-exploration, emotional processing, and experiential healing in a supportive group setting.
Helen has previous experience working extensively in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, supporting clients with complex mental health challenges in public health settings. This experience deepened her understanding of addiction recovery and the impact of trauma, shaping her approach to working with clients in need of compassionate, structured support.
