Dylan Hewitt
Dylan is a warm, grounded, and collaborative provisional psychologist who brings a rich depth of life experience to his clinical work. He takes a practical and holistic approach to therapy, helping clients build toward a life that feels meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with what matters most to them.
With 10 years’ experience in management and consulting roles, Dylan has a deep appreciation for how relationships, environments, and systems can impact well-being. Alongside this, he has spent more than 10 years coaching children, adolescents, and adults through martial arts, with a particular interest in resilience, confidence-building, stress regulation, and the connection between physical and mental well-being.
Dylan has facilitated peer support groups for individuals experiencing anxiety and related well-being challenges. He has also spent over 6 years supporting vulnerable families and children in out-of-home care through different volunteer roles. These experiences have strengthened his understanding of emotional well-being, attachment, resilience, and the importance of safe and supportive relationships.
Dylan works with children, adolescents, and adults, and brings a neuro-affirming lens to his practice. As someone with ADHD, he has a particular affinity for clients who may have felt misunderstood, different, or as though they have never quite fit the standard mould. He values creating a space that feels genuine, collaborative, and free from judgment.
Clients often appreciate Dylan’s calm, down-to-earth style and his ability to balance practical strategies with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity.
