Aleida Green

Provisional Psychologist

Aleida (pronounced Ah-lay-da) is a provisional psychologist who brings warmth, maturity, empathy and gentle humour to therapy. She aims to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard and safe to explore their experiences. She values a client-centred approach where interventions are led by each client’s unique needs and preferences, collaboratively working together to achieve their goals.

Aleida’s therapeutic style is grounded in self-compassion and strengths based practice. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, drawing on evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is particularly passionate about women’s health, including mental health challenges that arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting.

In her free time, Aleida enjoys baking, embroidery, and spending time in the sunshine (whenever Melbourne allows it!)
